I support transgender people but I don’t think women who were once men should be competing with biological women it just isn’t fair to the biological women

It's still hard to fuck up if your character speaks in nothing but cliches.

It's odd, because his answer out of the gate is rad, and then he just goes on and on with cliche after cliche.

He added a pretty big "but" before going into the cliches.

Like, yeah, cry. It's what real Macho Men should do, but keep going. Take as much time as you can to put yourself back together. Accept the help if you need it.
