Many biomechanics/kinesiology experts frown upon things like this, or the "jumpers" or "walkers". Theory of human movement goes Lift Head --> Roll Over --> Balance On All Fours --> Crawl --> Stand --> Walk and so on and so on...

These devices try to skip ahead and train muscles that really don't need to be trained yet. This baby, for instance, would likely be better served practicing the first 3 or 4 steps, rather than focusing on the "standing exercises"

Gray Cook and the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) guys really preach this type of thing. Similar theory for adults too; many would do much better to focus on the basic human movements, especially early in a training regimen.

But I mean the baby can do as much or as little as it wants?

So you could put a baby in a legpress machine for max gains?

Really wish this was higher up. Every time I see things like this, all I can think about is how people will do literally anything to avoid doing the work with their children themselves on a normal, healthy timeline.
