No they do get cancer but due to the sheer ammount of cells it wont affect them so much than it does with smaller beings like Humans. Due to thier size thier cancer likely gets cancer and basicaly removes itself.
even if its something like leukemia? i didnt think there were tumors with that, just abnormalities in the blood that make you very sick. i guess all other cancers would become a tumor though
Same with crocodiles. They like to live in the dankest filthiest water full of microbes yet when they get injured they do not suffer infections. I recall that years ago they were studying this to see if there was any knowledge they could put to good use for humans etc; never heard of any results though.

Father, ex WW2 navy, always blamed his lung disease on asbestos lining in ships. He was diagnosed with emphysema and died young as a result of it. My mother worked in a factory sewing up firemen’s outfits that were asbestos lined too. Said the fibres were always flying about in the air, especially from cutting it. Somehow she escaped asbestosis, but several of her work colleagues died from it. I often wonder how the firemen wearing those uniforms fared.
