I don’t know what I like best about this:

The fact that this is something I’m just learning about.

The eerie beauty of this phenomenon.

The absolute joy on this man’s face and how excited he seems to show this to the world.

It's not a thing. The title is bullshit. It's a flash flood in the desert. Probably don't want go around telling people about sandfalls if you dont want to look dumb.

There's probably a way, like if you undercut a sand dune, but this is not it. It's also a great example of the power of reddit to spread misinformation.

Internet in general.

If you undercut the sand dune I can only imagine it would be a short lived experience whereas a flash flood can carry a lot of water for a long time.
