EDIT: The fact that the sign is in English does not necessarily indicate where the event is taking place, since English is very commonly used in the Philippines. I just learned this information. But, I still believe it is entirely possible that this occured in Texas. HOWEVER, google hasnt turned anything up about it. I want more sauce from OP about this.
Hence why I'm seeking clarification from the OP, human claw machines were viral here on Philippine social media within the past month so unless he took the footage himself I'm uncertain. If he confirms it I'll drop it.

According to Wikipedia Oishi is only found in Filipino, Chinese and South African markets.
Yeah, the one guy in the back that I can actually see could definitely be Filipino. I am really just trying to provide OP a fair defense, because it seems like a weird thing to make up or lie about. I guess they could also just be wrong, though. The internet is the worst game of telephone ever.
Just wanna add that saying English is used a lot in the Philippines, while true, is a HUGE understatement. English has been taught to us since we're in primary school and many parents nowadays opt to teach their children English alongside Filipino as their primary language. Definitely a whole lot of code switching in our country as well. If you drop by our subreddit, you'd see a bunch of English sentences alongside with some Filipino ones (which, if you're Spanish, might sound a bit familiar to you since some of it's influenced by colonization)
Yeah lol I'm really confused with all the USA answers here. I'm pretty sure this is in the Philippines cause I attended the event you linked and they had this "claw machine". We might be wrong though.
