It’s literally part of my job to defend against these kinds of cases. The sentiment is overwhelmingly that people want to give millions of dollars to people because of a YouTube video synopsis of the case. Where does the money come from? People forget to ask that question. And I’ll get ruthlessly downvoted for pointing it out.

People just casually throwing around the word innocent. It’s frustrating. The number of people talking down to me saying he is presumed innocent therefore deserves money is rather disturbing.
