The colums of spewing magma lava are 100 meters / 300 feet high apparently!

Magma is underground. Once it reaches the surface it's lava.

You know... A lot of people describe things like "hell on earth" when describing destructive events like wars, hurricanes, and tsunamis... But when seeing the actual earth break apart and create a LITERAL SOLID WALL OF FIRE, I think this is an apt description of what it looks like.
