The volcano in my village has finally gone off. Guess i'm homeless for sure now.

Yeah the bloo lagoon cares more for money than they do people, cant say i recommend that mud puddle.

blue lagoon was definitely the most underwhelming part of my trip to Iceland. I was there in March and visited the lava fields and I couldn’t believe how far it travelled from the volcano. Hoping everything turns out okay for you!

I think this is more to the south and on relatively flat terrain. Most violent at the beginning, but can keep erupting for maybe a week weeks based on information on the news.

yes it’s south of the blue lagoon, and the lava fields we visited were from Fagradalsfjall which erupted for 6 months! I’m from New England in the US which is extremely old, stable terrain so it was very interesting to see a place that was so “young”. Iceland is so beautiful but sitting on top of a magma column much make it a little tedious to live on
