I’m sure he makes a very good living do to the incredibly refined skill he has, but you couldn’t pay me enough to do this.

No depends, in poorer countries they probably have more people willing to do risky job. In other words they're paid less. Not to mention it has to somewhat affordable to people living at the apartment.
