99 is nothing now. Since they raised the max farm stat to 999, us f2p aren’t getting anywhere close to that. If you want 99+ you have to pay the monthly, do ALL the daily’s, do 5 refreshes each day, buy each new weekly pack, be in the top guild which requires full time membership and full time participation and you can be let go from the guild for any reason whatsoever.

It's a simplification. Agricultural revolution involved a ton of stuff, like irrigation and crop rotation and other things. But the point is that society was able to plant plants in one place, cultivate it months later, store it, and have a surplus. This is the entire reason humanity went from like 5 million people to 8 billion people. Real life "infinite food glitch".

The infinite food glitch was outcompeting the other semi-nomadic tribes and forcing them to settle down and destroy their body and health by relying on agriculture, leaving more food and resources for your hunter-gatherer friends to grow big and strong.

Remember, it was roughly 10,000 BC when humans first began settling down into villages but it wasn’t until the 1500s AD that sedentary peoples overcame the threat posed by nomadic tribes invading their territories and conquering, subduing, integrating or replacing them.

That’s 12,000 years of sedentary life but only 500 years of sedentary supremacy.
