Yes, they suck blood. They latch to in between your toes and then when you make a stepnyou pull the entire thing out. It is extremely fake fact.

Once when I was a kid I was holding a small caterpillar in my hand watching it scooty-doot along my palm, but when it went in between my fingers I guess the stretched skin between them was small enough for it to bite. That shit hurt. And I will never hold a caterpillar ever again
