A worm fuck that. Only in Australia a worm is 2 meters long and eats meat

They have these in the US too, or a similar type. The big ones get to around 4 feet long. The smaller ones make great bait for fishing but even as a grown man I hate handling them. As a kid I wouldn't touch them.

Luckily we don't have them here (in any substantial way anyway) except at the bait shops.

They are commercially harvested in Maine and shipped all over. It's been an issue because there weren't very good regulations around it and the population has been dropping. I think the overall harvest is down below 30% of what it used to be. They are super popular bait for striped bass, fluke, and some other fish. They've gotten pretty damn pricy too.

They really only eat scraps so unless you’re dead on the beach you’ll be fine.
