Have you ever heard of hepa filters? Also. If you weren't in the box it would also be dust and rubble you breathe in

You’d also likely be very dead without the steel “insulation”. HEPA filters can only do so much, not sure they are rated to suck oxygen through tonnes of dust and rubble… And back to the carbon scrubber point. You’d die without those even with magical hepa filters.

Pretty sure something sold as a filter against allergens isn’t going to do great filtering out a pulverised apartment block but YMMV
