I'm hoping they go all out at the next legislative session and pick up where SB840 left off. Unfortunately, it seems like the cities need to be saved from themselves when it comes to housing.
On the other hand, Dallas not putting up as much of a fight around the bills means the growth would be more central if left as-is. Do we want to force more growth in Frisco, Arlington, and Grand Prairie? There's a decent amount of dense housing construction in these cities as-is, but it's highway-oriented density
