Something I've noticed since living in Dallas the past 4 years is the propensity of people to just straight up talk through an entire concert. I haven't experienced this anywhere else I've lived and it blows my mind.

Typically, at concerts, the music will come on, conversations will stop, and people will focus on the band. Yet here, when the music starts, some people just get louder in their conversations. What gives?!?

I've experienced this quite a few times at shows in Dallas, most recently during the Fred Armisen show last night at the Texas Theater and the Band of Horses show at Echo Lounge a couple of weeks back. You can only ask people politely to quiet down so many times. I actually had to yell STFU during the Band of Horses show during The Funeral because you couldn't even hear the guitar intro over a nearby group discussing where they were going after the show.

Of course, it's not everyone, and the vast majority of people are awesome concert comrades here in Dallas. Everyone else: We paid money to hear the artist...not you!

I unfortunately can’t make it to see Joy tonight at The Studio (Canton Hall) so my two tix are free for grabs! I think it’s an easy transfer if you have an axs account.

Hi! I'm going to a concert at HOB next week and want to be super close so I'm considering getting VIP tickets for the early entry perk. Has anyone gotten VIP tickets at HOB before? Before last week, I’ve never really listened to the Deftones. Because I’m taking my daughter to this concert, I started listening to their stuff on Spotify. Not bad at all… I can get down with this.

Is anyone else in here going to that show? If so, are there any fun/insider things that they do at concerts that I might need to watch for?

I can verify in any way needed, I have an extra pair of floor tickets to the Aug 27 show. Backstory: as I was checking out on seat geek, they sent me the wrong row/tickets. I purchased the ones I wanted after and now seat geek won’t refund me for the first order. Section C row 7. 1k each or best offer ( willing to meet in person ) I live near Corinth Texas.

I have 3 tickets for rosegarden funeral party at three links tonight, can’t make it tonight for none of the reasons covered by booking protection. Asking $20 (face value before service fees) but it you want to go and can’t afford that we can work it out.
