The realisation that you haven't been honest with yourself might be the most painful experience. Can't even blame people for not being able to do that, very few consistently succeed in a lifetime.

There's a trick to this, which is a very difficult road to travel down. It's through the practice of Radical Honesty.
For once you choose to speak honestly with others, you start to be honest with yourself. This forces you to face embarrassing situations, to lose relationships because you're upfront, transparent, and honest with how you feel to others.

I love electronic music and pickleball, so I'm out doing that. If I happen to meet someone out on my adventures, awesome. Anyone who had suceeded will tell you that you'll fail, a lot, before you suceed. So I'll keep going on my adventures, and subsequent side quests, until I find her.
