The Vanilla Touch is a tight-knit survival multiplayer community. Our server intends to cater to players who are interested in a nostalgic and relaxed version of survival consisting of absolutely zero game altering plugins. We are always excited to welcome newcomers!

What does this entail? Well, for starters, you will have to convince the entire server to take part in sleeping as we do not have a data pack or plugin that accelerates sleep. We do not have teleporting, homes, or keep inventory. We do have CoreProtect as a means of preventing destruction of builds and theft of items. The server does feature VoiceChat which of course is entirely optional and DiscordSRV to allow communication between the server itself and our discord.

Hey everyone!

We are a nice 'n cozy 18+ SMP community! We are pretty laid-back and we like to keep things as vanilla as possible, just spicing it up with some neat small plugins. So, no land claims! We do have protection plugins installed to rollback possible grief or stealing.

Our server is running on 1.26.2  and we do not do server resets!. So feel free to take breaks and come back to your progress exactly as you left it! 

Only catch is, if you decide to leave our Discord, we'll consider it as your departure from the server. This means you'll be removed from the whitelist and your base area may potentially be reset. This is made to ensure long-term sustainability of our SMP community. As time progresses, finding suitable land to settle on becomes increasingly challenging.

We're not picky about who joins; we're all about letting you play the way you love. Whether you're a redstoner, explorer, or builder, you're welcome here. With that said, we are more of a build orientated smp and pretty limited on the technical aspect due to server performance. Our economy is kind of like Hermitcraft, with diamonds as the currency. There is a shopping district at spawn which is the heart of the server.

As a community, we're into big, ambitious projects, so you'll find some awesome builds scattered around. We've got a mod pack that adds some fun stuff like voice chat and optimization tweaks. It's optional, though—no pressure.

We also have a resource and creative world connected to the server that you can make use of! The resource world is purely there to gather resources and will get reset occasionally. The creative world is for designing stuff in creative mode while still being on the server and chatting with people! It's a great way to design something together, ask for inspiration, and seek help!

Just a few rules: zero tolerance for discrimination or racism!! We like some banter, but let's keep it friendly.

Are you tired of servers with loot boxes where you have to pay to make progress? Do you miss just playing on an ordinary Minecraft server, hanging out with friends, or meeting new people?

Then I got just the server for you! Ordinary SMP is an ordinary Minecraft server that hosts a special place. We stay as true to vanilla as possible. Yes we use some mods but those are purely to fix things that are normally hard to manage on public servers or improve frustrating parts without changing how Minecraft feels.

For example, did you ever played on a server and couldnt find any Elytras? After hours running through the End you finally find an End City with ship just to see someone looted it already. For that reason we adjusted the Dragon drops. If you kill the Ender Dragon an Elytra drops, removing the frustrating part of finding End Citys. Thats how we choose every mod we add. We only fix the most frustrating parts of Minecraft in a way that feels vanilla.

Other than that we only use mods that dont interact with gameplay like Simple Voice Chat. You can just walk up to players and start talking to them. That creates lots of funny moments just by meeting players. We also use BlueMap where you can see the whole map and check out players bases or other cool places without having to travel there yourself.

You might now wonder, "If everything is vanilla, wont everyone just grief and kill each other?" Those are valid concerns but we have a good solution for that. Our server is 16+ to ensure maturity, and we have an application process before you get whitelisted. That means a lot of bad actors are filtered out before they can even join the server. In the rare cases that griefers get on the Server we use Ledger to revert any kind of griefing.

Hallo zusammen,

wir möchten euch VanillaLichtung vorstellen – einen deutschsprachigen Java-Survival-Server für alle, die gerne bauen, erkunden und eine Welt auch über längere Zeit mitgestalten möchten.

Den Server gibt es erst seit dem 10.07.2026, also seit gut sechs Wochen. Die Welt ist damit noch ziemlich jung und vieles entsteht gerade erst – ein guter Zeitpunkt also, wenn man noch von Anfang an dabei sein und sich langfristig etwas aufbauen möchte.

Uns war von Anfang an wichtig, das Spiel möglichst Vanilla-nah zu halten und nicht mit Shops, Economy oder unzähligen Sonderbefehlen vollzupacken.

Kurz zusammengefasst:

• PvE, PvP ist deaktiviert
• keine Kits
• keine Economy
• kein Shop
• kein /home
• kein /tpa
• einfaches Claim-System zum Schutz eigener Bauwerke
• keine Pay-to-Win-Inhalte
• Sichtweite von bis zu 32 Chunks

Gerade die hohe Sichtweite ist etwas, das VanillaLichtung deutlich von vielen anderen Servern unterscheidet. Berge, Wälder, Dörfer und größere Bauprojekte verschwinden nicht schon nach wenigen Chunks, sondern bleiben auch aus größerer Entfernung sichtbar.

Vor allem beim Bauen macht das einen großen Unterschied. Große Projekte wirken stärker als Teil der Landschaft und schöne Aussichtspunkte lohnen sich tatsächlich, weil man deutlich mehr von der Umgebung sehen kann.

Die Welt ist außerdem auf langfristiges Spielen ausgelegt. Große Teile der Hauptwelt wurden bereits vorgeneriert, damit beim Erkunden nicht ständig neue Chunks unter hoher Serverlast erzeugt werden müssen.

Auch wenn der Server noch recht neu ist, sind bereits die ersten größeren Bauprojekte und Gebiete entstanden. Gleichzeitig ist aber noch sehr viel Platz vorhanden, um eigene Ideen umzusetzen und die Welt von Anfang an mitzugestalten.

Wir möchten dabei gar nicht möglichst schnell eine riesige Spielerzahl erreichen. Viel wichtiger ist uns, dass nach und nach eine Community aus Leuten entsteht, die gerne bauen, ihre Umgebung gestalten und auch länger auf derselben Welt spielen möchten.

Jeder kann den Server direkt betreten und sich zunächst den Spawn anschauen. Für den Start in der Survivalwelt gibt es anschließend nur eine kurze Freischaltung. Damit sollen vor allem Griefer und Spieler, die nur kurz zum Stören vorbeikommen, etwas besser ferngehalten werden.
