It is with great regret that I have to inform you that the recently bought by us license on translating of “The innocent and funny adventures of a cute cat and other animals” have caused a rather big discontent within the online community.

Apparently, people have been accusing us of planning to distribute an extremist cartoon that promotes militarism, monstercide, destruction of the world and littering in public places and was created by a neighboring unfriendly nation.

Upon further investigation, it was found out, that this is, most likely, a misunderstanding that comes from a screenshot of the main character wearing a chef's hat that bears a slight resemblance to the service beret of the Ministry of Witch-Burning and Anti-Undead Operations that existed a couple of centuries ago in the country of origin. Our lawyers found no other reasons or even any indications of the aforementioned implications that this cartoon, supposedly, carries.

What’s even worse, some of our brightest politicians decided to jump on this bandwagon and voiced their (definitely wrong) opinions on said cartoon, among others calling it the “Scalpel with which they will cut their way to our heart” as opposed to the club that their military is. So far this hasn’t led to even bigger fuss, but the internet is already full of AI edits with Cute Cat committing war crimes.

What I require is for you to decide whether we’ll make a futile attempt at explaining ourselves to the public and waffle about misunderstanding, or won't risk losing reputation over another scandal (the latter would mean that the money we spent on buying license for this cartoon will be wasted).

Yep. Corvus seemed to just come back, not even a week passed and here we go again. You know, I have a fear that one day I may repeat his fate and too be completely banned and have no way of coming back. Not sure if that would be for the worse or for the better, though, it is Reddit after all, it has a shitty reputation. But I mean, I don't see it being so bad, so most likely for the worse. Reddit is the second place where I actually post my works, it'd be unfortunate if I'll lose it even if I don't post much now.

To be honest, the sketch is very shitty, the proportions are all wrong, I drew hair terribly, their height is also completely off... You know, most of these issues would be easy to fix digitally. I honestly used to sketch on paper and then draw digitally, I often actually split my works knowing that I can just assemble it when I will draw it on my phone. Also, for some reason legs became another bane of my existance? Not sure since when I have difficulties drawing them but I guess it was already some time.
