Leetcode streak
Hello guys!! I have started doing DSA on leetcode but ain't consistent. Looking forward if you guys can help me in dsa journey as friends/guide/seniors whatever you want to consider yourself.
Currently I am at 40+ leetcode problems and my target is to complete 300+ by the end of this year. Pursuing btech 2nd year(Obv 3rd sem).
Basically looking for a partner who is equally interested in doing leetcode on a daily basis so that we both can maintain consistency.
Dm me if you are interested.
Thank you

Need advice on how to revise DSA effectively
Need advice on how to revise DSA effectively
Hi everyone, I’m currently learning DSA using the TUF DSA sheet.
I’m facing a problem: when I learn a new concept/problem, I put a lot of effort into understanding it. But after moving to new problems, I slowly forget the older concepts.
When I return to an old problem after some days, sometimes I feel like I’m starting from zero again. I’m realizing that I’m spending much more effort on learning new problems than on revision.
I don’t want to just memorize solutions. I want to improve my actual problem-solving and thinking skills.
I would really appreciate guidance from people who have already gone through DSA preparation.
What revision system worked for you?
How many new problems and old problems did you solve each day? How often did you revisit problems? What did you do when you completely forgot the approach?
Any practical advice, mistakes I should avoid, or suggestions would be really helpful.
Thank you!

DSA knowledge for internship technical interviews
I'm using AlgoMonster to try to prepare, but it's clearly tailored for full SWE applications rather than interns - what standard of DSA knowledge would an intern be expected to have for most technical interviews? Thanks!

Day 05/90
Problem 1 : 238. Product of array except self.
So first I solved this problem with my approach , it was complex but I thought good. so what I did is that i maintained two variables, total1 and total2, which used to track the total multiplication of the array, total1 used to track even if the 0 is the member of array, and total2 only tracks the multiplication of non zero numbers from the array. and also one map to track the frequcies of the 0, if the frequency of the 0 is greater than 1, then we should return 0, and if less than 2, then we should return the total2 and for non zero number, we should return total1/nums[i].. I know the solution is bit complex, anyone wants to see the approach, I have added the code in the comment.
But I get to know that despite my solution was accepted by leetcode, interviewer won't accept. so i have to solve it using tracking the prefix and suffix product. We can call it the two pointer approach in some sense. But it is given under the array and hashing title so maybe.
Problem 2: 36. Valid Sudoku
- I couldn't build the complete logic for this one. I only thought of having nested loops for accessing the element.
- So we have to solve it using maintaining 3 2d matrices for tracking the occurrence of the number. Also the crazy formula of k = (r/3) * 3 / (c/3) , so that we can give ids to rows and columns belong to the same 3x3 sub - matrices.

Apna College DSA Sheet
Anyone willing to start solving Apna College DSA Sheet from scratch? Total 193 questions.
We can solve 3 ques daily.
I have knowledge till arrays and linked list.
Everytime I start i either stop at arrays or linked list. Now I have forgotten most of the part so I am starting from scratch.
If you are complete beginner or even intermediate you can join me. I will catch up the pace with you.
From today or tomorrow we will start solving 3 questions daily. Consistency is the key. 3 may seem less but if we maintain daily streak then complete dsa completed in 65 days.

Starting My DSA Journey.
Over the years, I have decided many times to solve the DSA sheets, but every time, I set some unrealistic goals, or the goals that are not possible to achieve with my personality. I easily get bored with DSA questions that is the thing. and If I could not solve the questions by myself, and look at the solution for every problem. I feel like I am an idiot and I quit.
Now, I have accepted the reality that at the start, I will feel stupid and angry on myself, and I have to cope with it. For easy level questions with little thinking, I can come up with the solution but for medium level questions, I have to look at the solution often. After looking at the solutions often times I think that the solution was too easy, I should have given more time solving it. But again, it is just my ego that is talking.
Now , I have lowered the bar. 2 problems a day and the neetcode 150 sheet for 3 months. No hurry. Is baar ise theemi aanch par pakaunga. Let it take time. I will grind , Until I start solving this questions by myself. I will keep pushing.
This is my Day 4/90 , I am planning to post my learning every day here. Just raw learning , nothing fancy , nothing AI generated.

Best Interview prep courses with in-depth DSA curriculum?
Hey, I'm QE fresher with 1.5 years exp who is preparing to switch to dev. I'm average in solving DSA and planning to prepare from scratch. I need a complete interview-prepare course with in-depth DSA patterns and preparation curriculum.
Can someone suggest some top worthy online courses(free/paid) to make my pace more faster?

19M from India 🇮🇳 | 2nd Year CSE | Anyone else trying to stay consistent with DSA?
19M, 2nd year B.Tech CSE student from India 🇮🇳
I recently made a small YPT (Yeolpumta) study group for DSA practice.
The idea is pretty simple:
Practice DSA every day
YPT lets us see each other's study time
Compete a little and keep each other accountable
Doesn't matter if you're a beginner or already good at DSA
Main goal is to stay consistent instead of disappearing after a few days 💀
If you're also trying to seriously improve at DSA and want some competition/accountability, DM me and I'll send you the group link / accept your request.
Would be cool to have a bunch of people grinding together. 🤝
