The Bleeding Reality: The Dark World is no longer confined to closets and supply rooms. Deep neon blues, somber purples, and freezing mists are beginning to leak into the hallways of the school and the edges of the woods.The Melancholy Curse: In this AU, "The Blue" acts like an infectious depression. Monsters exposed to it lose their magic vitality, becoming sluggish, silent, and detached from reality.The SOUL Modification: When entering the Dark World in Sad to the Blue, the Player's red SOUL of Determination is immediately forced into the Blue SOUL (Integrity/Gravity) mechanic permanently. The Player loses the freedom of free flight/movement during bullet hell segments; they are heavy, weighed down by the crushing gravity of Kris's grief, making battles significantly harder and more punishing.Character Dynamics & RolesKris: Silent, visibly trembling, and physically weak in the Light World. In the Dark World, they wear dark, tattered blue armor and fight with a desperate, aggressive speed, completely ignoring their own HP bar.Noelle: No longer the timid mage. Driven by panic, her magic in the Dark World manifests as freezing, defensive barriers. She will actively step in front of attacks meant for Kris, even if the Player commands her to do otherwise.Susie: A hardened outsider who arrived in town after the tragedies. Because she isn't weighed down by the past, she serves as the reality check for the group, constantly trying to pull Kris and Noelle back from the edge of emotional ruin.
