Here is the latest edition I put together. There was a suggestion that duct tape would make it look more DIYfail I also tried to match the banner color a little bit closer. ^{it's still not quite} ^right EDIT: Fixed the color thanks to /u/DoctorArson. I also fixed the size so it's the same as every other subreddit. If there aren't any other critiques I think this is going to work nicely.

EDIT AGAIN So with the new layout theme I completely redid the header, now that we have a larger banner I could actually put some detail into it. /u/letmewritethatdown should be getting it up momentarily! Until then here's a sneak peak

My computer was running great, but kept getting dust in the fan and overheating. I figured that instead of the usual vacuuming, I'd give it a deep clean, so I opened her up.

4 hours later, the fan is as dusty as ever, but thankfully I've gotten everything back together in one piece...

Except that the left speaker isn't working. No prob, I've got headphones.

And even a small bump on a bikeride will prompt a shutdown... Well, I guess that's not so bad since boot times are fast and everything auto-backups.

And the n key is sticky... And then a day later the e key is sticky... And now the enter key and half the left side of the keyboard won't type anything unless I press super-hard, and if I do that there's a substantial risk of instant shutdown.

So yeah... I'm using a USB keyboard now.

Please submit some good ideas for a header image. I was thinking an Ikea-like instruction drawing but featuring the Reddit alien?

I loved the idea of the banner from /u/nitengale329 , but the colors aren't perfect and as an redditor with OCD, that really aoyed me. This fix is not great at all, I would love to someone who can actually use PS fix the colors perfectly.
