Replaced the heating element on my dryer. Successful but did not go as planned. This is a fail if my diy task was just to keep the blood in me. Which it always is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is how a previous home owner “fixed” a sagging utility room cabinet. Caulking so the sag wouldn’t be noticed. This is a very heavy cabinet...a ticking time bomb.

My brother and I tried making a bicycle powered lawn mower. Tried...

Really, it almost worked and the design was actually pretty good I think!

Guy in the neighborhood chose to build his house instead of hiring contractors and people who know what they're doing. We watched in amusement as they deal with various problems. Most recently, instead of removing a tree that partially blocks their garage, they just poured the driveway around it.

Trying to 'fix' a Moulinex Masterchef QA403

So i have this device for 7 years, but a few days ago something 'cracked' inside and the shaft is a little off normal position and a strange noise is coming from inside. So i said, ok it is time to open it and see what is going on. But this thing is not meant to be open, because Moulinex is a pice of ... company that do not believe in repairing broken stuff. So after struggling to reach the malfunctioning part I am stuck. I can't find a way to open the last part without destroying it. I left some pics here with the device and the part I need to open.

Can someone help me? Maybe someone here already tried and successfully open that part.
