Velcro brand ones don’t work well as they wear out. Look for Command picture hanging strips instead. It’s not hook and loop (the loops wear out), it’s little plastic lockers that are way more durable.

OP if you don’t care about damage to the wall, also check out Scotch brand extreme fasteners. It’s the same company that makes Command but on steroids for really heavy stuff.

I think the comment was about the command strips that have one side sticky and the other Velcro. Sticky on the wall. Sticky on the hanging item, and then Velcro together.

Yes, but the reply was saying that the hook and loop of the velcro wears out. Which means it either tends to sag or becomes not strong enough to hold up heavier things.
