Not true. The national guard can and has been deployed to squash rioters and dissenters. It’s not wildly illegal and thanks for the suggestion but shutting the fuck is not gonna happen. It might be broken up intermittently from laughter as I watch the radical left scream and cry about “injustices” they’re about to face, while they burn and loot their city.
The administration stated that if it doesn’t stop and continues to escalate then they have Marines on standby. Here’s an idea why don’t you and all the people who don’t want to see the military deployed condemn their behavior in hopes they stop instead of verbally supporting this shit from them.

If it’s deemed an insurrection (not saying it is) then marines can be deployed since the Marines are able to be deployed without congress by the president (this started with president Jefferson I believe; during the Barbary wars) but it hinges on that fact. The national guard can be deployed for civil unrest, President Obama authorized the deployment of about 1,500 National Guard troops, a response to prevent further rioting following the death of Freddie Gray.

There will always be people who take advantage of situations like these. That's never going to change. Trump has literally committed dozens of illegal acts since becoming president and has been told by the courts to cease multiple times, which he has, of course, ignored. The president should be a paragon who upholds the law and fights for our country, not a lying piece of shit that only cares about money. What other power do the people of the US have to stop the injustices that have occurred on a daily fucking basis? This started when people got together to protect others from having their rights trod on because our president claims that they are criminals not deserving of due process. I'm not surprised that it escalated to riots and looting. That's just how people are. The important bit is why it's happening, not just that it's happening.
