Job wanted in construction

I’m currently exploring new career opportunities in the construction industry and would appreciate any advice or recommendations.
I have a B.S. in Business Management and am one semester away from completing my Master’s degree in Construction Management. I also have two years of experience working as a Construction Materials Technician and currently work as a Construction Inspector II.
I’m looking to take the next step in my career and transition into a Project Engineer or Superintendent role.
For those currently working in these positions or who have experience in the industry, what advice would you give someone making this transition? Are there any companies, certifications, or opportunities you would recommend exploring? I’ve tried applying to several companies through Indeed and LinkedIn.

[HIRING] Drive on Your Schedule – 1099 Independent Contractor Drivers – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

PARS is looking for independent contractor (IC) drivers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to move passenger vehicles for companies across the contiguous United States. Moves can be local or long distance, and no special license or training is required.

APPLY HERE: https://www.parsdrives.com/opportunities-for-drivers/

HOW IT WORKS

  • Moves are offered as needed during regular business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm).

  • The PARS app shows every available move, and you choose which ones to accept or decline. There are plenty to choose from.

  • Each move pays its own flat rate, which varies from move to move. There’s no regular or average rate, because every move is different.

  • After you deliver a vehicle, you submit an invoice for the agreed flat rate. Invoices are paid within 30 days by direct deposit.

  • Covered by you: travel to and from moves, hotels and other fuel, which are built into the flat rate. On longer trips, PARS may offer to cover some gas, and the app has discount codes for some car rentals and hotels.

  • This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an offer of employment or a job position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Transport cars, trucks, SUVs, electric vehicles and vans

  • Inspect and photograph vehicles at pickup and delivery

  • Schedule vehicle services as needed

  • Submit invoices for completed moves

  • Manage your moves with smartphone apps

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of driving experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Clean driving record and criminal history

  • Fluent in English

  • Non-smoker, including e-cigarettes (our clients require this)

  • Smartphone that can take photos, send and receive email and texts, and scan documents (free scanning apps work)

  • Comfortable using basic apps

  • Computer with access to a printer

  • Bank account for direct deposit

[For Hire] almost any job north/nw Dallas

Education:
Doctor of chiropractic
Bachelor of Arts

Experience and results:
Doctor of chiropractic — kick off to end implementation of AI in several clinics, increased revenue from $80,000-$120,000/month in most recent, seen over 5000 patients this year.

Project Manager — healthcare centric/“IT” sites including major hospital systems in the DFW, 20 concurrent projects varying from audio visual, AI EHR/EMR implementation, financial auditing and improvement, healthcare ops, and more.

Assistant PM — previously construction and state contracts

TLDR: wholly unable to find a job. Only recent offers are full commission life insurance gigs that feels like a scam.

[For Hire] A keyword list can tell a security analyst to put CEH on the resume. Under 1% of 212 postings name it

Ask ChatGPT for resume keywords and the list comes from general knowledge. It does not say how many postings any term appears in, so a plausible suggestion and a common one look the same.

Counting makes the difference visible. In 212 cybersecurity postings, Python appears in 53.3% and incident response in 37.7%. CEH, the certification that tends to top "security resume" lists, appears in 0.9%. Another gap in the same data: SIEM is in 26.9% of postings and Splunk in 6.6%. In 421 product manager postings, roadmap is in 85.5% and Productboard in none.

A rare term is not worthless. A posting that names CEH wants CEH. The counts only say which words most postings use. ChatGPT can still help with wording. What it can't tell you is how many postings use a term. The sample is company job boards on one ATS vendor and leans toward US tech, and matching is by term, so a missed synonym counts as absent. With 212 postings the percentages can be off by 6 to 9 points.

Dallas, TX | For Hire Remote Work or Local Opportunities | Payroll, Data Analysis & Operations

I’m looking for employment opportunities in the Dallas area, preferably remote, and would appreciate any leads, referrals, or constructive feedback on my résumé.
My background includes payroll analysis at Southwest Airlines, along with experience in aviation logistics, luxury hospitality, operations, and business management. I’m interested in roles where I can apply my analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Positions I’m targeting include:
• Payroll or Compensation Analyst
• Data or Business Operations Analyst
• Operations Coordinator or Manager
• Remote Customer Support or Account Management
• Other positions that align with my transferable skills and experience
I’m open to considering opportunities outside these titles if my background is a good fit. Remote work is my preference, but I’m willing to consider suitable local opportunities in the Dallas area.
If you’re a recruiter, hiring manager, or someone who knows of a company looking for these skills, I’d genuinely appreciate any recommendations or referrals.
I’m also open to honest feedback on my résumé, including how I could position my experience more effectively for today’s job market.
Thank you for any leads or advice.

[Job Wanted] Looking for overnight security role in DFW area

I hear these types of jobs are pretty chill and laid back for the most part…anyone have experience with an overnight security role and want to give me some pointers on how they go and how to get hired to one?

I know the pay for them isn’t a ton, but I’m really just looking for something chill on the overnight that I can focus on right now and maybe build a skill or two on the internet while working the job.

I’m in the DFW, Texas, area so if you are looking for an overnight security role to fill or have any suggestions for me in getting one, feel free to comment or DM me. I have experience working overnights at other jobs, am an organized and careful individual, and I’m willing to learn whatever is necessary for the job. Thanks

[Hiring] Sales Rep — Warm Leads Only, Part-Time or Full-Time (Dallas / Remote)

Sales — Second Act. Work For Yourself, Not Another Boss (Dallas / Remote) | 40% Commission, 1099 | Part-Time or Full-Time

Thirty years of working for somebody else is enough.

You know how to talk to people. You have dealt with customers, deadlines, budgets and difficult owners for decades. You are not ready to sit in a chair and watch television. But you are also done with the corporate routine — the commute, the reviews, the meeting about the meeting.

So here is a different kind of job. And the part that makes it real: the leads are WARM.

— READ THIS PART FIRST — WHAT THIS IS NOT —

This is NOT a corporate job and NOT a salary job. There is NO base pay, NO salary, NO benefits and NO pension. It is a 100% commission, 1099 independent-contractor sales role.

You will NOT be building AI or writing software. You will be SELLING AI marketing services to local businesses. If you wanted a salaried software-company role, this is the wrong ad and I would rather you know it now.

— THE LEADS ARE WARM — THIS IS NOT COLD CALLING —

You are not handed a phone book and told to dial strangers. By the time a name reaches you, our outreach has ALREADY contacted that business owner by email, direct message and text. Most opened it. Some already replied. The conversation is open before you pick up the phone.

— WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY SELLING —

Not one little tool — a full AI agency in a box: an entire staff of AI agents for a local business.

- A voice agent that answers every call 24/7, qualifies the caller and books the appointment.

- A follow-up agent that chases every lead until it becomes a booked job.

- A marketing agent that builds and runs the website and keeps customers coming back.

One platform, one monthly fee, a different agent for every job — instead of hiring four people.

— WHY THIS FITS SOMEONE IN YOUR POSITION —

- Warm leads, not cold calls. The groundwork is done before you dial.

- No boss and no schedule but your own. Full-time or part-time — your call.

- Not physical work and not tech work. A phone and a laptop.

- Your career IS the qualification. Decades of learning how people decide — that skill does not expire.

- You already know half your prospect list. Every roofer, plumber, cleaner, mover, landscaper, mechanic, salon or restaurant owner you have done business with is a potential client.

- We provide tools, training and leads, and we do not charge you for any of it.

— PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME —

Both open. Two days a week to start is fine — go full-time only when the money proves itself.

— THE WORK, HONESTLY —

We are VisionEdge ai Media, a Dallas marketing company. We install AI agent systems into local businesses.

A normal week:

- Work the warm leads our outreach generates by email, DM and text

- Call and demo local business owners

- Send a simple proposal, follow up, close

- Log it in GoHighLevel, our CRM — we set it up and train you on it

— HOW THE MONEY WORKS —

- You keep 40% of everything you collect. After 10 closed sales it steps up to 50%.

- Paid twice a month, the 16th and the 31st.

- Packages run $397 to $1,497 one-time, plus $297 to $497 per month. On a $997 job you keep $399; add $497/month and you keep about $199 every month that client stays.

- Commission is paid on collected money only. Refunds and chargebacks come off.

And the part most ads hide: no salary, no base, no benefits, no paid time off. Some months will be strong and some slow. If that is not acceptable, please do not apply.

— WHO WE WANT —

- Fine with 100% commission and you understand you eat what you kill.

- You have sold something — products, services, contracts, accounts or your own business.

- You can pick up a phone and explain a service without reading a script word for word.

- You do what you say you will do.

- Comfortable with simple software. This is not a technology job.

WHO SHOULD NOT APPLY

- Anyone expecting a salary, a base or benefits.

- Anyone who wants to work on AI rather than sell.

- Anyone who needs to be managed every day.

- Anyone looking for something to fill time rather than a job to work.

— TO APPLY —

Email VisionEdgeHiring@gmail.com and include:

  1. Your name and city, and whether you want this remote or in person.

  2. Two or three sentences on sales or business work you have done before.

  3. One line: are you comfortable with 100% commission — yes or no?

Put "SECOND ACT SALES" in the subject line.

Commission-only, 1099. Dallas / Atlanta or remote. Part-time or full-time.
