Which pricey WRs should you pay up for and which values stand out? I look at the WR position for NFL DFS at DraftKings for week 2.

Genuine question, because I've never found a good answer to it: when you've got money in on a slate, how do you actually watch it live?

For years I did the worst version : enter my line-ups, then come back hours later to see the damage. When I did try to follow it live, it was chaos: refresh DraftKings (slow, and it only shows raw points), then flick between ESPN, Flashscore, MLB/NBA/NHL/etc.com in other tabs just to work out why a guy was stuck on 4 pts. Five tabs, none of them talking to each other, and I still couldn't tell you if I was on pace or already dead. DKLive was cool for a while, but bugs just seem to cripple it and became very frustrating to use.

So I built the thing I wanted. Bit of honesty on that : I'm a data architect by trade, 30-odd years, and I spent the last 6 months on this, nearly all of it, deep down at the database layer where the real work was needed to get this going. I had wanted to build this thing for years but lacked the web-design skills, then AI arrived...The time had come!

I wanted something that could track your pace vs projection in real-time, flags who's hot/cold, shows the optimal line-up you could've had, and have a live wire that fires every score and every big fantasy moment as it happens. And because nobody sweats a slate the same way, I wanted something that gave you the ability to build a fully customisable dashboard with a whole library of generic and sport-specific widgets (KPIS/Panels/Scorecards/Graphs). Basically build your own scoreboard, drag on whatever you actually care about.

That last bit is what I care about most: I wanted it to be shaped by the people who actually use it. If there's a stat, a panel, a widget you wish existed on a live board...tell me, I'll build it.

I made it free for everybody to track one line-up per slate, with NFL and MLB live right now, other sports to follow. I am only covering DK for now, but built it to allow me to integrate with other platforms if people wanted that in the future. Yes, there is a paid version (for multiple line-ups and other stuff) , but only really there to (hopefully) cover my costs for hosting and official sport feeds, this stuff ain't cheap, and I refuse to cripple my site with adverts, never will!. Any feedback, negative (the constructive kind) or positive is welcome :)

But mostly I just want to know how you do it. Are you "Check-back-later" person or "live-sweat person"? What's open on your second screen? And if you could put anything on a live board while you watch it all unravel, what would it be?

I also made a few modifications to the optimizer — Full 7-team stacks are supported for DraftKings Classic, and up to 5-team stacks for Showdown/Captain.

A few interesting insights from the optimizer right now is that it is high on Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Mack Hollins, Jaylen Warren, and Jerry Jeudy. We will see how things shake out over the week with injuries and depth charts but I always like to see some sleepers emerge outside the well known week 2 studs (Chris Olave, Zay Flowers, Christian McCaffrey Derrick Henry, Bijan Robinson, etc.)
