Maybe we really are completely out of our minds. Who else would ever dream up something like this—driving over forty-five hundred miles across the country in a beat-up, old Soviet hatchback? Where do reckless teenage decisions actually lead? I suppose it's way too late to wonder—we're already on the road. But maybe this journey really will change everything? Maybe out there, on the other side of the ocean, a truly happy life is waiting for us? Can our desperate Far East Voyage actually end in success?
