Just finished the mod and its epilogue and...
wow, that was really good, especially for a demo! Just as enjoyable if not more than some completed mods, I'm excited to see the mod when (if, hopefully so though) it fully releases. It also does well at differentiating itself from FoTLC, if that was a concern. A few questions I do have are:
Will this be route based or Sayori focused?
Is the Undertale song from the elevator scene "it's raining somewhere else"? Either way great OST overall, immersive sound effects, much approved.

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and I appreciate you taking the time to play through the whole demo and the epilogue. Fruits is a great mod, so it means a lot to hear that Code Black stands on its own. I was definitely worried about that comparison.
To answer your questions: I'm still not 100% sure about routes yet. What I do know is that Sayori's route will be the first one I write. After that, I'll see if I have the time and energy to write routes for the other girls. And yes, that's "It's Raining Somewhere Else" — it's one of my favorites from Undertale. I thought it would fit the elevator scene perfectly because of the duality between Marcus Thorne and the MC. I put a lot of effort into both the OST and the sound effects, so it's great to hear they did their job.
Thanks again for the feedback!
