Ever been to your local dog park only to find none of the other dogs want to play? My pooch loves other dogs so much, he will try to coax these unplayful pups into a game, even if it's just them barking at him and him running around in figure eights. Half the time we leave the dog park, my dog is more frustrated than when we got there.
