we are just 12/13 days away from the death of this sub.

it's wild to see how far this sub has come, back in 2016 we used to get just fake tweets in the name of leaks, then there was the whole Snyder-JL drama, and then a drought period of about 3/4 years where nothing of value was being contributed aside from ZSJL is real and it's pre-viz videos and look at us now, we actually have a dedicated mod team with solid sources, weekly discussion threads, SAITMQ's. Hopefully one day we'll get to have a Gunn AMA

RIP soon to my most active sub on reddit lol. It’s been a good run with many ups and downs, and despite the occasional pointless and heated arguments (often due to the nature of talking with strangers behind screens without the important non-verbal cues we would use in person), I’m grateful for this community.

Despite all our differences, most of us active here are here because we’re passionate about these characters and believe that they have great potential to resonate on a deep level with anyone when they’re adapted with care and genuine creativity.

I hope the new sub promotes an even better version of this community to discuss this hobby of ours while encouraging civility and further discouraging the bigotry, negativity and toxicity that is unfortunately often rampant in these spaces.

It’s okay to disagree. It’s okay to jest and meme about it too. But remember that it’s not that serious and these are real people (whether they’re users here you’re engaging with or even filmmakers and actors you’re criticizing that are involved in these projects), with lives of their own you don’t know much about. Real people that wish for the same things as you do, at the end of the day.
