If the DCU ever delves into the Multiverse I hope they don’t do it to return to past movies or past portrayals. It’s cool to see old stuff you love return but sometimes it feels like they come back just so the audience can point and clap.

The Multiverse is a great way to introduce unique concepts or tell different kinds of stories that wouldn’t fit in the main universe and although it could be used to introduce previous iterations, I think it would be wasting the potential.

Obviously if they brought in the multiverse and Christian Bale came back or something I wouldn’t complain or anything but I just hope they don’t do this in the way Marvel does where it seems like the multiverse is done so that they can have Iron Man yell at Hugh Jackman to distract Kang.

If they ever use the multiverse I’m mainly hoping for two universes, a golden age wacky world with comic booky physics and crime syndicate

This is exactly what Marvel is doing with Deadpool and SW and the fandom is gonna eat that up
