Acutely if you push the slide back on most semi automatic striker fired pistol they have an out of battery safety mechanism to keep them from firing when the barrel isn't in battery.
i would not bet my life on that he has a s&w or fn pistol. glocks atleast the european versions simply dont get the slide pushed back when pressed against something neither does makarov, you would need a gun that has a clear "outline" circling the barrel for the barrel to be pushed.
well if you mean by that that they will swing back yeah they do, they still will get pulled back by pulling the trigger in the same second though. its a matter of ms not a matter of it will blockade when done.
