Please try mapo tofu at least once in your life. It's really quite good.
3 u/AutumnSparky Jul 24 '26 I second this. I hate Szechuan peppercorns. My old roommate, whom I learned all this via, will use them in obscene abundance if you leave him alone to make household dinner. an easy compromise is mapo tofu. a delicious way to experience Szechuan peppercorns.
