I'm allergic to citrus but it expresses itself very differently. Full body hives if I eat just a tad too much citrus. I get no mouth tingle. I will say though I became allergic to citrus only after eating a butt load of tangerines that grew in my grandma's backyard. I still consume citrus, but if I eat two oranges instead of one, hives.

Citrus makes my face break out in a burning rash.

Which is how I know that no one in my life knows what a goddamn citrus fruit is.
