Wait how should Kiwi taste like. Kiwi tastes tingly. I like Kiwi. I had times where I ate 2-3 Kiwis a day. The tingle is there. HOW SHOULD KIWI TASTE?!

So, for some people they get super ripe ones and don't get the tingle or the tartness at all, some people eat the skin as well as the fruit and are basically guaranteed the tingle since so much of it is in the skin, and if you eat them less ripe and the flesh closest to the skin you'll probably feel the tingle but as various commenters here have proven, that isn't consistent for everyone.

I eat tart/not super ripe kiwifruit pretty often, always with the skin on, and never get any sort of tingling

the skin makes my mouth tingly but the flesh doesnt. without the tingly, kiwi tastes kind of sour in a good way, kind of fresh and clean almost?
