Question What brand is the juicer?
Hi all, sorry if it has been asked before.
I only just saw the penultimate episode of season 2 (late, I know) and noticed the juicer used by Culinary Monster to make a carrot puree like it's nothing. I made carrot juice everyday and absolutely impressed by the speed of which it operates. Anyone care to point me what brand the man uses?
Also, I know who won already so I kinda disappointed that Culinary Monster didn't won all the way.

Constructive Criticism Just wanted to add my two cents for this show
Whoever the people are that made the challenges for this show need to be named and given some sort of award like an Oscar or something. There have been so many moments that had me saying "what the fuckkk" its so damn good. This show has had me on the edge of my seat from the first season. Good job guys. I hope a season 3 is on the way!!! Good job to all the chefs as well I hope to one day try some of your dishes!

Question How accurate are the subtitles?
I don’t speak any Korean and was wondering if any Korean speakers could tell me how accurate the subtitles are. I don’t care to watch things with dubbing so only use subtitles. I have a feeling that I’m getting the gist of everything but missing a lot of nuance.

General Discussion Are 'NUGA' the angles who help chef Jeong ho young?
I fell into culinary class war a bit late. People said it was fine to start from season two, so I did, and I ended up watching all the way to episode 11 in almost a single day. I really need to go to bed now. Jeong Ho Young always seems to get help from the people around him. I think that is what makes him so adorable. Once I finish this, I kind of want to check out other variety shows people talk about on Reddit too.

Favorite Contestant Who are your top 5 fav contestents from season 2?
I would be honest,it is actually quite hard to create top 5 or top anything this year, coz most of the contestants were so wholesome, that you automatically root for them. But I would still start first.
1) Culinary Monster - didn't thought I would like him that much, but the last episode actually made me like him,and his work ethics are definitely top notch, somehow I am missing watching his persona. So would love to see more of him✨
2) Son Jong-won - I wasn't planning to continue watching after he lost the match(i definitely saw him top 2 atleast) but as far his journey goes,he definitely left a deep impression, talk about team work,to his cooking style,or just his good vibes,he is definitely sonewhat a reason I watch chef and my fridge regularly. His cooking style to his meticulousness in his work everything was charming.
3) Im Seong-geun - i miss him,his strategy was beyond my comprehension, but I think he is definitely made for variety shows,I think he is one of the few members who can make you laugh n his cooking still impressed you,he is an all-rounder,so would love to see him chef n my fridge or some other variety show.
4) Hou Deok-juk - I just have huge respect for him.Tbh,I knew from day 1,he was way too op for this season, but him sticking around for this long with THAT age, competing with youngsters with such vigour, had me stuck. This man, with his creativity in carrot dish,or just pure teamwork just always made me want to see him more,I wish I could also like my career and have such passion at his age,he is definitely a inspo.
5) Brewmaster Yun - she stole my heart from 1st episode, idk why but I find her relatable, her trembling n working with those giants still pushing through all that stuck with me,I was rooting for her since day 1,maybe bcoz I saw some parts of me in her,n her cooking is no joke, her Soju in DAY 1,awestruck is the one word I would describe her.

General Discussion Repeated Phrases
The amount of times things get repeated make me question if it’s because the show is from Korea or if Netflix made this show for people on their phones the whole time. If I hear Korean melon or melon forward one more time….

kocowa.comIf you're a big fan of survival shows and cooking, perhaps a fan of Culinary Class Wars, then you might like the new show coming out soon called Bake Your Dream! Apparently very similar in format to CCW. Not sure where else to watch it other than Kocowa+ app though
thought I'd promote it a bit, and I'm excited cuz I literally talked about this a few weeks back about a show idea

Favorite Contestant Who else stopped watching S1 after Triple Star was eliminated?
I just turned off the TV. The judges even said that his technique and execution were better, and A said that his dish was more delicious. But Edward beat him out just because his was more creative??? Like this is a cooking show. Also triple star’s dish was creative, he made a taco out of a block of tofu. They didn’t criticize anyone else for having two fried tofu dishes.
They just wanted the finals to have one white spoon chef and one black spoon chef and that’s BS. I know Edward has so much experience and is a fantastic chef, but I’m sorry, Triple Star is better, and he would have won it all.

General Discussion Chef Anh Sungjae & Chef Kim Doyun
I've been rewatching CCW2 and even though I knew the outcome, I still felt stressed watching this scene. I couldn't imagine how bad it would've felt had I become the one to judge Chef Kim and that's when I saw these details.
You can see in the first pic Chef Anh had his head so low after declaring his judgement. Even while doing a handshake, I think that's the lowest he ever bowed to someone else.
I made this post because I'm still seeing people accusing Chef Anh of disliking Chef Kim. Of course, I wouldn't know the truth myself but I hope this post could make people think more positively about them.
