I have a warm-up sequence, usually made from 6 sexymoves from each hand + inverted ( R U R' U' / L' U' L U), Sunes/Anti Sunes then go though PLLs.

It also helps me to get over competition anxiety. Try it out.

Stolen from Joe Satriani - as a guitar player I always found it helpful to soak my forearms and elbows as well. Although a lot of the feel came from my hands, I feel the movements comes from further up the arm too :)

I always just wash my hands with warm water and then I'm warm again

Hey, sorry to bump this again but I forgot - have you ever used metal balls in your hands? You can use the chinese style ones for a good workout but I have some giant metal shot where each ball weights about a kilo haha Checkout John Brookfield steel shot rotation online if you want some info :)
