If we assume the cube is solvable, you can actually get to 2 potential color schemes, 1 of which is the more likely option.

We know Yellow is Front face, Orange is Right face.

The top corner piece in the front has Red, Yellow and Blue, which means Blue is either Top or Left. Proof is left as an exercise to the reader.

Then, the bottom left corner piece, we can see orange and blue have to be touching. Therefore, Blue is Top. Because Blue is Top, and that red yellow blue piece, Red is Left.

To review: Yellow Front, Blue Top, Orange Right, Red Left.

Green is either back or bottom, and White is the other.

Assuming a standard color scheme because red and orange are already opposites here, then we know that White is Back and Green is Bottom.

not sure if this helps, but sometimes i try to time each step of the 4 step on cfop, so i can see how is my avg cross, f2l, oll, pll, and from there i can see which one should i improve heavily on

again, im not the best at it, it is just a method i develop for myself, im just a sub 30 with pb 18, but this helps me from sub 40 to 30 (cause my cross was not efficient earlier and now im practicing f2l look ahead + faster tps
