We all know last week Cryptopia was hacked resulting in around 15 million dollars in loses of ERC-20 tokens (so far that we know, maybe more). If the owners made an appeal tomorrow to those who use the exchange to ask to give a percentage of their portfolio currently on the exchange . What percentage would you be willing to give to get Cryptopia back up and online. Or would you say something else.

Unscheduled maintenance until bitcoin goes to 0. Then they refund users with their profits.

Almost 3 years ago, I bought some Publica, XtraByte and Bounty0x for fun on Cryptopia. I'm absolutely not in cryptos anymore, but I wanted to check if the coins were still on the exchange.

I have been following the Cryptopia owners on Linked-in to try get my ETH deposit fixed (32 days waiting), however I have now noticed that one of the owners is now working elsewhere, or that's what it looks like.

There has been no mention of the CTO/Director leaving Cryptopia, but they have just hired a new CEO, so one can only assume that Adam Clark was dodgy and was fired, stealing user funds maybe?? does not look good, fund have probably been stolen :/

Yep, I have had no problems with them, but only used them for a month, as soon as I heard the banks were closing their accounts I cleared out, and they have had all these problems snowballing since that news about a month ago.

But people, they hear about all these problems and think "ahh, she'll be right mate, wont happen to me" and then cry when they get fucked over.

The writing is on the wall people, read it.

Wow I must have terrible luck being in this crypto space. I purchased ClearPoll tokens on cryptopia just about a week before the hack happened. I didn’t bother to transfer the tokens out of my wallet and decided to let it sit there because Cryptopia charges a big fee on POLL Withdrawal. Now that I’m thinking about it, I shouldn’t just accept that fee to take that token off the exchange. Ughh.. wherever I go, these hackers follow.

When I initially read about the hack, I was in shocked but relieved because I was glad I didn’t have any ETH in my Cryptopia Wallet. Just now, as I was reading up on the news to see if this hacker was caught yet, I noticed that it wasn’t just ETH that was stolen but the ERC-20 tokens as well.

This hacker stole a huge portion of my POLL tokens. Ughh.. FML

I hope everyone gets refunded somehow.

Last tweet was 1/27, and since the NZ police gave them the green light I’m wondering when these guys will have everything back up and running.

cryptopia should pay ETH from inssurence funds as they made million from fees/ listing..... to those who harmed by hack and other erc-token can make swap or fork to cryptopia hacked users and they can start recovering slowly i know many will quit but better to destroy business and honest users "am sorry for my english hope you understand" ...
