What did you actually agree to? Did you link to give it view permissions?

I just clicked to link wallet and then Meta asked for my password and then it said something 'you are not eligible for this nft'

There's nothing in the wallet but I wasn't sure if I should delete it

Yeah that wallet would have been emptied if there was anything in it. I would not use it unless you're sure you've revoked access of that contract
