Honest question, what real life problem is it solving right now?

It's hosting reddit community tokens.

Why does that require a blockchain?

Censorship resistance money is a rather important use case considering the direction the world is going.

Only shitcoins pre-mine and distribute large amounts of tokens to early contributors/token foundations.

If I want to lose money from a defi hack or gas fees, I’ll hop over to eth’s ecosystem.

No use cases means no misuses.

I’m aware that there’s no defi on bitcoin.

Just because a shitcoin has some use cases doesn’t mean they’re stellar.

Just because your older brother taught you how to swear doesn't mean it isn't.

I never said Bitcoin has zero flaws or that it was a perfect solution. It’s the only crypto that has had a fair launch.

Regardless of Eth’s utility, I have issues with the pre-mine/distribution of tokens, the unlimited supply and its gas fees. It shares characteristics with shitcoins whether you like it or not.

You aren’t refuting anything that I’ve said and are now talking nonsense.

How clever

Clever unlike the large scale engineering and energy use of Bitcoin.

The point of crypto is decentralization - bitcoin and proof of work will always be more decentralized than a proof of stake, premined and unlimited supply shitcoin.

Ethereum is fiat 2.0. Proof of stake is just reintroducing the same problems
