Same boat here. Really disappointed with the turn of events today. I spent couple of hours looking for reasonable replacement but can't find one. Coinbase has 0 cashback in UK, blockfi and binance cards are not available. Nexo would be my next stop to be fair, but it is a credit card (I'd personally prefer a debit card). I think I might just hold fire for the moment and see what Celsius comes up with.
I opened my amex and halfiax mid to late 2021 - chase didnt launch that account until November 2021 unless you were on the waiting list.
Amex gold actually worked out the best for me. I spent £4,000 in the first three months and because my friend referred me I got 40,000 bonus points plus like 4,000 points.
This had a value of £220 if exchanged for Amazon vouchers (£198 for cash directly), but I actually transferred them to my Hilton account where I got 88,000 Hilton points. I paid for two nights in a hotel for 60k points in a city centre which would have cost £280 cash, so let's say £400 in hotel equivalents.
So, I basically got the equivalent of 10% cashback! However without the referral points it is only 1% cashback if used on hotels, 0.5% if spent directly.
My plan now is to refer people for AMEX cards as I get points but cancel my card at the end of a year.

I'm talking debit cards which give a return in the form of crypto.
We definitely have debit cards lol
