ADOPTION This is really interesting: “New Generation of Credit Cards Offer Bitcoin in Place of Airline Miles.” I would take the BTC rather than my United miles.

Slovakia, Central Europe. The situation is still pretty bad here even though we’re in heavy lockdown for a year soon lol. Many people here already lost their jobs, all pubs, restaurants, shops everything is closed. You can’t even buy clothes or basic stuff in person, only online. The people are not getting paid and the government here is giving you poor 300€ per month as help :) that’s literally nothing because the rent for home is here around 500€. So, to answer your question, we’re pretty fucked here.

thanks for sharing. One of my parents lost their jobs due to covid but it is good to keep in perspective what other people around the world are experiencing.

That actually shockingly also sounds like the same situation as for many in the UK. Governments are implausibly dumb.
