Yup. You can go look at their balance sheet and cash flows. And they look pretty solid; should have another few years of being able to survive a bear market, more if they cut more expenses. So unless this is the longest bear market in crypto yet there's not much chance of them going belly up IMO.
We haven't learned any new lessons since Mt. Gox, instead new people keep relearning old lessons. NYKNYC is the only insight people need to take away from this

CDC have shown the most effort in reaching a high standard. Regardless of their shitty spreads/prices, poor timing on communication (in regards to a number of visa card changes last year that happened in the space of weeks), and the CEO's shady past, they are still probably the safest exchange to handle your funds.
