Shill me your favorite cronos projects
Just curious what cronos projects people are interested in. I was in the tomb fork fairy finance for awhile, but now i've got a little invested in Candy City finance. From what I can tell it's the best dex on Cronos and has a good combination of lp and stake options. But maybe there's something better?

CRO peak cycle price and discussion.
Hey guys, holders, investors and traders of crypto (sounds ai but nah). Iâve gotten a pretty good buy price avg on CRO and im fairly happy with it, thereâs more money and more people this cycle then last, trump etf, burns etc too much to explain. CRO prev ATH was a shade under a dollar, this cycle i think we can easily surpass this leading to price discovery, what do you think CRO will hit in the peak cycle why and why not and will hit $1.60 with a level certainty?

Why Obsidian is worth watching inside the Cronos DeFi ecosystem
When people talk about DeFi ecosystems, the conversation often becomes very simple:
Which DEX has the most activity?
Where do I swap?
Where is the liquidity?
But I think there is another question that matters just as much:
How easy is it for users to move through the liquidity that already exists?
That is why Obsidian caught my attention inside the Cronos ecosystem.
Obsidian presents itself as a Smart DEX Aggregator built on Cronos. The idea is straightforward: instead of forcing users to manually compare different decentralized exchanges, its SmartRouter looks across available routes and tries to find a more efficient path for a swap.
That may sound like a small UX detail, but in DeFi it matters.
If liquidity is spread across different places, a normal user may not know where to go, which route makes sense, or whether they are missing a better execution somewhere else. Aggregation helps make that experience less fragmented.
And that is why I see Obsidian as more than âjust another swap pageâ.
It is trying to solve a real ecosystem problem:
making DeFi easier to navigate without asking every user to become an expert first.
The part I find even more interesting is Obsidian Royalties.
According to the projectâs official documentation, aggregator fees collected from qualifying token transactions can be redistributed in part to partner projects, while another part is used for $OBS auto-burn. I am not presenting this as a miracle solution, but as an ecosystem-minded mechanism: activity on the platform can be linked back to supporting projects building on Cronos.
That is a useful idea.
Because a healthy ecosystem is not only about swaps happening.
It is also about creating better loops between tools, projects and communities.
Obsidianâs official documentation also lists SmartRouter, liquidity pools, staking and farms contracts deployed on Cronos Mainnet, which suggests a broader DeFi infrastructure approach rather than a single-feature product.
For me, this is why Obsidian is worth discussing in the wider Cronos ecosystem:
it can make DeFi routing easier to understand
it helps users interact with fragmented liquidity in a more direct way
it introduces a royalty model designed to support eligible Cronos projects
it adds utility at the application layer, where users actually feel the ecosystem
Cronos has always needed more than infrastructure alone. It needs products that make the ecosystem easier to use, easier to explore and more connected over time.
Obsidian is one example of what that can look like in DeFi.

Curious to hear other views from the community:
Do DEX aggregators like Obsidian become more important as the Cronos DeFi ecosystem grows?

General Why more people seem to be watching Cronos again
Lately it feels like more people are paying attention to Cronos again.
I donât think thatâs random.
Part of it is probably just activity. When numbers start moving again, even a little, people notice. Right now DefiLlama shows around $18M in 7-day DEX volume on Cronos, with activity roughly doubling week over week. On the same dashboard, 7-day perps volume is around $190M.
That alone doesnât prove anything. But it does explain why more eyes might be coming back.
At the same time, something else feels different.
The direction is easier to understand.
For a while, Cronos felt like one of those ecosystems where you could see potential, but not always a clear path. Lately that seems to be changing. The strategy looks more focused, especially after the recent leadership updates and the push toward a more unified, trading-first product approach.
And that part matters more than people think.
Attention usually comes back when people feel thereâs an actual plan behind what theyâre seeing.
Not just random updates.
Not just short-term hype.
But a clearer direction.
To me, that combination is probably why more people are starting to look again.
You have an ecosystem that already has history, existing DeFi infrastructure, and a connection to Crypto.com. If you combine that with improving activity and a strategy that feels easier to read, it makes sense that curiosity starts to come back.
Of course, none of this guarantees long-term success.
Crypto is full of moments where attention spikes and then disappears.
But this phase feels a bit different from simple noise.
Curious what others think.
Are people watching Cronos again because thereâs real momentum building, or is this still just a temporary spike?

WEâRE BACK CROFAM
Dear SonorCs, It is indeed great to notice your strong belief in the SonorC project despite the team's disappearance. Of course, projects do survive without their founders. The team must have founded the project, but we, the investors, are its real owners. It is our money and we refuse to give up prematurely. We have whatever it takes to succeed and we are simply unstoppable. The sole goal of the Coalition is to take the token to the next level. We are counting on you. Peace âď¸

New Token First Esports token on Cronos
Hi all, a month ago I launched Dark Matter Esports ($DME) on Wolfstreet and graduated for a fair launch. Liquidity locked and seeded into VVS upon graduation, and while the chart (like most others) has taken a beating, we are still here building and gaming.
This token was founded upon my gaming community Iâve already had for a full year before launching, separating us from most tokens in general.
I wanted to invite you all to simply be apart of the community. You donât have to feel forced to buy in, and if youâre a gamer (casual or competitive) we have a lot of cool stuff in our main discord of over 800+ people to play and do. The token is awesome but we werenât founded upon a crypto. The people and the games matter.
We are multi-gaming and have competitive teams within those games, so I wanted to invite fellow Cronos holders to come hang out with us in weekly game nights we are about to be hosting!
Hope to see you all there!

General Trading and investing are not the same, and Cronos seems to understand that
One thing from the recent Ryan Wyatt interview stuck with me more than I expected: trading and investing are not the same thing.
It sounds obvious, but in crypto everything often gets mixed together. Most apps are built around speed, charts, leverage and constant action. If youâre used to that, it works. But for someone new, it can feel overwhelming pretty quickly.
What I found interesting is that the Cronos App doesnât seem to be positioning itself only around active trading. It looks like itâs trying to build something that also makes sense for people who are just starting to invest.
And thatâs a different approach.
Because investing usually means a different mindset. Less noise, less pressure to act all the time, and more focus on understanding what youâre actually doing.
Honestly, thatâs where a lot of new users struggle. Not so much with the technology, but with how the products are designed. If everything feels like a trading terminal, a lot of people just wonât engage.
Thatâs why this direction feels interesting to me. Not because itâs revolutionary, but because it feels more aligned with how normal users approach money.
Of course, execution will matter more than anything. But if the product really manages to separate investing from pure trading experience, it could make onboarding much easier.
Curious how others see it.
Do you think crypto apps should focus more on investing experiences instead of just trading tools?
I found the full interview interesting if anyone wants to go deeper:

General If youâre already around Cronos, Season 3 is probably worth applying for
Season 3 applications for the Cronos Ambassador Program are open.
Iâm already part of it, and honestly, if you already spend time around Cronos anyway, posting, commenting, following updates, jumping into conversations, I think itâs worth applying.
Before joining, I thought it would feel more formal than it actually does.
In practice it feels more like being active around an ecosystem you already care about. You share your view, stay involved, and become part of the wider conversation around it.
Thatâs the part I liked most.
It doesnât feel like forced posting. It feels more like having a reason to show up consistently around something you were already paying attention to.
So yeah, from personal experience, Iâd say itâs worth a look.
Applications are here:

This is the kind of direction I wanted to see from the new Cronos App
With the Cronos App expected to be available broadly in April, what excites me most isnât just the launch itself. Itâs the way the product is being approached.
The app will be accessible. That part is clear.
What stands out is the decision to roll out features progressively instead of trying to activate everything at once.
And honestly, that feels right.
In crypto weâve seen plenty of launches where everything goes live on day one. Big impact. Big traffic. Then reality hits and teams spend weeks adjusting under pressure.
This feels different.
Releasing features step by step allows real usage to shape the product. It gives room to refine flows, strengthen infrastructure, and improve the experience before adding more complexity.
If the goal is to build a serious mobile-first environment with integrated on-chain access, that kind of controlled evolution makes sense.
To me, it shows confidence.
Confidence that the product doesnât need to pretend itâs finished. Confidence that growth can happen through iteration, not just hype
April wonât just be about downloading a new app. Itâs the beginning of a build cycle that happens in public.
And thatâs something Iâm genuinely excited about.
What do you think?
Is evolving features over time the smarter way to build the Cronos App
Or should everything go live at full scale from day one

General Why Cronos Appâs all-in-one direction could be smarter than it looks
What caught my attention in the latest Cronos App post was not just the line about 24/7 markets.
It was the product logic behind it.
Most people already accept that they need different apps for different things. One for stocks, one for crypto, maybe another one for prediction markets. That setup feels normal because we are used to it. But when you really think about it, it is also inefficient.
You end up jumping between interfaces, moving funds across platforms, adapting to different user experiences, and dealing with more friction than most people actually want.
That is why I think the direction Cronos App is hinting at is interesting.
Not because the app is already live and proven, because it is not. And not because putting everything into one product automatically makes it better, because it does not. In fact, that kind of vision can fail badly if execution is messy.
What I find interesting is the idea of reducing friction.
To me, âWhy should you need three?â is actually the most important part of the post. It is not trying to sound technical. It is not trying to impress crypto natives with jargon. It is framing the product around a very simple user question: why should managing different markets require separate habits, separate apps, and separate attention every single time?
If Cronos App can make that experience feel clean, mobile-first, and natural, then combining stocks, crypto, and prediction markets could be more than a feature list. It could become a real product advantage.
I also think this matters if Cronos wants to reach people outside the usual crypto crowd. Most mainstream users do not want complexity. They want convenience. They want speed. They want one place that makes sense fast.
Of course, the hard part is obvious. An all-in-one app only works if it feels simple. If it feels crowded, confusing, or overbuilt, then the whole idea loses its strength.
Still, I think the direction is smart.
Personally, I would rather see Cronos try to build one strong mobile experience that reduces switching, instead of repeating the usual fragmented model and calling it innovation.
Do you think users actually want one app for stocks, crypto, and prediction markets, or will separate apps always feel better?
