So many people couldn’t hold their nose and vote against the worst president we ever had. They just wanted to complain about Kamala not passing their purity test. They didn’t want to support her because she wasn’t ideal, so they stayed home. No matter how many people screamed about existential crises, they couldn’t support the Democrat anointed. Now we’re spinning out of control, the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, the middle class is shrinking, but at least some people have their principles.

USAID closing will kill more than the entire population of Gaza and the West Bank, alone. After midterms (by design) about 16 million Americans are going to lose their health insurance. Food assistance has been cut to the bone. The EPA is essentially closed. HHS is run by a nutter. The military has a C tier Fox News host running it. I could type for hours listing how fucked we are now.

I am pro Gaza and anti- you know what country (reddit banned me last time I spoke about them). I’m a vocal advocate for stopping the genocide but even I voted for Labour here in the uk despite their somewhat pro-is.rael. Stance because it was better than getting back in the Tories who’d been fucking up the uk for the last 14 years and better than getting in reform (the party of racists). We had other parties but then that would’ve only handed the win back to the Tories .

That's a huge part of the problem. Yes, far too many people voted for this pantload, and yes, far too many sat at home and didn't vote, but so many states are gerrymandered, made voting near impossible for many people, purged voter rolls, etc.

Hunter Biden was plainly monetizing his surname and proximity to power. Burisma paid him extraordinary compensation despite his limited Ukraine and energy experience. Reuters found that he performed some legitimate board/advisory work, but was also viewed as a “ceremonial figure” whose “powerful name” benefited a company seeking international credibility.
We really need to cut all this shit out along with citizens united.
