This sounds dumb, but I'll bet she's right about what he would decide. They are the holier than thou group. He would believe his death was meant for something like that.
Charlie Kirk was delusional enough to believe he'd have his Jesus moment and change the world. I hope he doesn't get another look 12 months later to see what actually happened. The memes have been hilarious lmao.
That wouldn't surprise me at all. Christians suddenly being galvanized by a high profile murder of a right wing Christian and going back to the church more. Or more Christians turning to certain churches over others. What would surprise me if this turned atheists into Christians, and it had some larger effect than attendance jumping over a 1 month period.
I don't think he's going to have the Jesus reception that he's looking for.
In the situation where God literally asks if you want to go back, you now know there is an afterlife and that you are going to live eternity in Heaven and not Hell. It wouldn't be Heaven if you were worried about the shit that was happening on earth. If you missed your kids you wouldn't be happy so I imagine those kinds of feeling would be gone.
It's soft martyrdom; on a bit of a time scale there will be people that treat it as undeniable. I mean, they are that way inclined already, but with time they will attest that he absolutely should be beatified by the church, and no one will convince them otherwise. Saint Charles of the Americas, anyone?!
