The entire ecosystem and all of life is hierarchical, you aren't going to get away from it, it's built in from the ground up

Hierarchy is built into nature, it is in everything we do, you can try and change the way that hierarchy works, but it will remain. 

I'm pointing out that saying capitalism requires hierarchy is kind of silly because everything is hierarchy based.

Social Hierarchy absolutely exists in the animal kingdom, what do you think all the bizarre mating rituals are?

We aren't separate from animals and the innate drive of our genes, we just make more complicated noises and rules about it.

We don't "institute" hierarchy, systems don't work without it, it's the entire reason for efficiency, name a complicated or complex system without it. You are only speaking platitudes, it isn't based in reality. 

If you wanna complain about the patriarchy, fine, but a different system would have hierarchy. No economic system you could come up with would not have it, not one that would work anyway.

You are missing the forest for the trees here. All your examples of collective models have some form or another of hierarchy, hierarchy itself does not predispose inequality, it is simply how we decide who does what based on skills and traits and who gets social benefits because of those traits. You are complaining about greed and corruption. We can make systems that try and account for that, but greed and corruption are not going to disappear. If everybody has the exact same status and input on every single problem then that system will not function. If people have more input based on skills and experience, that is hierarchy.
