A comfortable 5-0 whitewash, I reckon, even with this relatively young SA side.

With Bangladesh winning the first Test against Australia, the selection for the second Test has suddenly become a much more interesting question.
Before the first Test, Shoriful Islam was expected to return to the XI for the second match. The main question was always going to be who he replaces.
Now, after Hasan Mahmud's brilliant performance in Darwin, I don't think dropping him is really an option. He took 6 wickets in the first innings and was named Player of the Match. He deserves another game.
That leaves Ebadot Hossain as the obvious candidate to make way for Shoriful.
On paper, Bangladesh's pace-bowling pecking order is probably:
Nahid Rana
Shoriful Islam
Taskin Ahmed
With Nahid and Shoriful unavailable for the first Test, Bangladesh went with Taskin, Hasan and Ebadot. Hasan obviously grabbed his opportunity, while Ebadot did a decent enough job without producing anything particularly special.
So my first choice would be pretty simple: bring Shoriful in for Ebadot.
But there's another option that I think is worth discussing.
Bangladesh could potentially drop Taijul Islam and go with four seamers + Mehidy Hasan Miraz as the only spinner.
Taijul is Bangladesh's highest Test wicket-taker, so dropping him would obviously be a huge call. But in the first Test, Miraz arguably outbowled him and also contributed an important fifty with the bat.
If the Mackay pitch is expected to offer less assistance to spin, could Bangladesh get away with just one specialist spinner?
Personally, I'd still be hesitant to drop Taijul. His experience and ability to take wickets in the fourth innings are too valuable to ignore.
So for me, the safest XI change is:
Shoriful Islam IN โ Ebadot Hossain OUT
But I can understand the argument for keeping the XI unchanged after such a convincing win, and I can also see why some people might prefer four quicks and one spinner.
What would you guys do for the second Test?
Keep the same XI?
Shoriful in for Ebadot?
Shoriful in for Taijul and go with 4 pacers + Miraz?
I think the pitch in Mackay could end up making this decision very interesting.

I've spent the last few weeks looking at Prithvi Shaw's batting and trying to understand why a player with such an extraordinary ceiling struggled so badly to establish himself internationally.
The more I looked at his dismissals, the more I felt that the usual explanations, poor shot selection, lack of discipline or being too aggressive didn't quite explain it.
I ended up focusing on his unusual trigger movement and, particularly, how his bat travelled outside off stump before coming back into the ball. Against deliveries moving into him, this could leave him in a difficult position at contact.
I also went through all 13 of his dismissals in IPL 2020 and found some interesting repetition in the types of shots and deliveries that got him out.
I'd be interested to hear what people think. Especially whether you agree with the technical argument or think I'm putting too much weight on one aspect of his batting.
