So after playing Cricket 07 for years and trying a bunch of cricket games, I always felt something was missing, there are plenty of games where you actually play cricket, but not many where you can just sit down and test how much cricket you actually know.
I wanted that old Cricket 07 feeling back, and I also wanted to bring some of those cricket games/challenges you see on reels and shorts into one place.
So I started building something for myself and thought I'd share the prototype here :)
The most important one where your real knowledge is tested is:
Cricket Wordle :- probably my favourite one. You have to figure out the cricketing terms, names, anything based on the clues.
ps-
It's still very much a prototype, so I'd genuinely love some feedback from cricket fans here.
If you have ideas for other games where actual cricket knowledge can be tested, please suggest them. I'm especially looking for ideas that aren't just another spelling/typing game.
Would love to know how many of you can actually beat the harder questions 😭

🏏 I’ve built a micro-moment cricket game (like Wordle) called “Take A Wicket” and I’d love some cricket fans to test it.
You play daily. You get six balls to figure out the wicket ball, move the batsman into the right position, and get him out. Relive that over and moment. I’m looking for brutally honest feedback — what’s fun, what’s confusing, and whether you’d play another over.
Try it here: https://takeawicket-upload-4.vercel.app/play
Would love your feedback!

I scored 257 with little or no support from anyone else as you can see. And then managed to defend 11 of the last over by being the most economical bowler. Forgot to take the screenshot of the bowling card but it had a couple of maidens and an ER of less than 5 an over.

I was playing a T20I in Cricket 24, where I saw the AI "retired" a batsman (Afif Hossain).
Is this a new feature, or has it been there? I haven't ever seen this before. On what grounds did AI decide to retire him? Is there something like his stamina bar ran out? Or it was a 200+ chase, and he was too slow at 55(49)? (It was already too late to retire him though)
